We aim to develop an Eco-fertilizer utilizing the N-P content at shrimp farm waste, repurposing the waste for agricultural use.
Our proposed innovation aims to address these critical environmental and economic challenges by converting shrimp farm sludge into a nutrient-rich agricultural fertilizer. The initiative revolves around the development and implementation of a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to process the waste into a valuable commodity for agricultural use, particularly targeting high-value crops such as chili peppers. This method not only aims to reduce the environmental footprint of shrimp farming but also enhances local agricultural practices by providing an economical and effective alternative to chemical fertilizers

- Successfully deliver the pilot project on eco-fertilizer production, through:
-
- Eco-fertilizer prototype development and testing, utilizing the N-P content at shrimp farm waste, repurposing the waste for agricultural use and
- Provide training aimed at educating at least 100 local community members on converting shrimp waste into eco-fertilizer and encourage the use of this eco-fertilizer for local agriculture.

<img src="/icons/bell-notification_pink.svg" alt="/icons/bell-notification_pink.svg" width="40px" /> Describe the kinds of help you need the most (funding, expertise, technology, access, etc).
- As an initiative-based activity, promoting the conversion of shrimp pond waste into environmentally friendly organic fertilizer requires funding to spread awareness throughout Indonesia. Indonesia is an archipelago with diverse agricultural characteristics.
- The process of transforming shrimp pond waste into environmentally friendly organic fertilizer requires efficient technologies. These technologies aid managers in two key areas: collecting waste from shrimp ponds and converting this waste into organic fertilizer, thereby improving overall operational efficiency
- As a long-term strategy, we will need a strategic partner to explore future commercialization opportunities.

<img src="/icons/emoji-disappointed_pink.svg" alt="/icons/emoji-disappointed_pink.svg" width="40px" /> What pain points are you trying to solve?
- The discharge of shrimp farm sludge often leads to environmental pollution, harming local ecosystems and water quality
- Economic viability for shrimp farm sludge processing
- Soil Degradation
