The products that we will be developing for this project are consumer goods (chairs and tables) that are made from repurposed marine plastic waste and natural fibers derived from agricultural waste.

Our products reduce the amount of virgin synthetic materials being used by replacing them with plastics and agricultural waste. This in turn, drastically reduces the carbon footprint and GHG emissions of the product whilst reducing the amount of waste in our oceans and landfills.

Furthermore, the natural fibers used in the product, sequester carbon during its growth phase, essentially acting as carbon sinks, and is then trapped and stored in the product instead of being released to the environment.
