The intended output of this project is to create four new community bamboo groups in Liquica District. Plus to create two new bamboo preprocessing groups and to fund 21,875 bamboo seedlings that will be planted near coastal waterways in Liquica District to address the impact of erosion on local communities and marine habitats. The focus will be mitigating roadside erosion and protecting coastal waters. Eventually, this bamboo will be harvested and will generate revenue for the bamboo groups and will provide bamboo material to the Bamboo Institute as we create a circular economy for 100% utilization of bamboo.

We are creating income-generating activities for the community bamboo groups plus helping the environment and coastal waters of the Liquica District. Local residents with limited access to alternative income sources are primarily reliant on agriculture or natural resources. They actively engage in bamboo cultivation, nurturing seedlings, and maintaining plantations. </aside>
